The Checkerboard filter is a straight-forward check renderer. There are two options available for this filter.
The Check Size slider adjusts the size of the squares in pixels. A higher setting, obviously, results in larger squares. For fine tuning, a text-entry box is provided. Of note is the coloring of the checks. Only two colors are used. These are set by changing the Foreground and Background colors in the Toolbox .
The Psychobilly checkbox, although not self-explanatory, is quite simple. Checking this option will result in the size of the squares being increased incrementally starting from the top-left corner of the image window. This gives an appearance of a three dimensional plateau.
As with most render filters, Checkerboard is destructive.
